Using Traden
Traden provides an AI assistant that automatically replies to suitable customer enquiries, gathers job details and hands conversations to you when your input is needed. It brings those conversations together with business profiles, bookings, quotes, invoices and customer records. You must use the service lawfully and keep your account credentials secure.
Your business information
You are responsible for the accuracy of your business profile, service descriptions, pricing rules, availability, qualifications, legal limits, terms and any messages or documents sent to customers through Traden.
You are also responsible for making sure you have the right to upload, connect, store, send and otherwise process information about your customers, staff, subcontractors or suppliers through Traden.
Automatic AI replies and human handover
Traden uses your saved business details, working rules and the conversation to send suitable replies automatically, without asking you to approve each message. It can ask the customer for missing job information and keep the enquiry moving.
Questions needing your judgement are flagged as “Needs You” with the customer context. Traden may still answer unrelated routine questions using verified information while your decision is pending. Automatic replies stop when the customer asks for a person, you take over, or automation is paused. You can review the context and respond yourself.
AI outputs can contain mistakes and are not professional, legal, financial or safety advice. You remain responsible for important decisions, customer commitments and safety-sensitive work. Review customer details, scope, prices and terms before approving or sending quotes and invoices; document approval is separate from automatic customer replies.
Connected services
Some features rely on services you choose to connect, such as WhatsApp Business, calendar providers, payment providers or email systems. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms, permissions and platform rules.
You are responsible for keeping connected service permissions accurate, disconnecting services you no longer want to use, and complying with any messaging, consent, opt-out, template, anti-spam, payment, calendar or platform rules that apply to your business.
Privacy and customer notices
Our Privacy Policy explains how Traden handles personal data under UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. If you use Traden to process customer enquiry, message, job, document or contact data for your own business, you are normally the controller for those customer records and Traden acts as your processor.
You are responsible for giving your customers any required privacy information, choosing the lawful basis for your processing, deciding how long to keep customer records, and handling access, deletion, objection, correction or other data rights requests where you are the controller.
You must not use Traden to process special category data, sensitive safety information or confidential third-party information unless you have a valid lawful basis, appropriate safeguards and the right to do so.
Subscriptions and billing
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial from signup, with no card required. The trial ends automatically and does not create a paid subscription. To continue after the trial, choose Traden Core at £49.99 per month, including VAT where applicable. Meta's WhatsApp messaging charges may apply separately.
Paid features may require an active subscription. Billing, renewal, cancellation and refund information is shown during checkout or in the billing area of the app. You are responsible for keeping payment details accurate and for cancelling before renewal where you no longer want the service.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Traden to send unlawful, misleading, abusive or spam messages.
- Do not attempt to bypass security, access another account or interfere with the service.
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to process.
- Do not use Traden to collect or disclose personal data in a way that would breach data protection, consumer protection, marketing or platform rules.
- Do not rely on Traden to replace required professional judgement, legal compliance, permits or safety checks.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Traden reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change as the product develops, including integrations, workflows, templates and interface labels.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Traden is not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, lost business, missed opportunities or issues caused by inaccurate profile information, user decisions, third-party platforms or customer-provided information.
Ending use
You can stop using Traden and close your account subject to any active billing terms and legal retention requirements. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached or the service is misused.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer or data protection rules give you additional rights.
